Leave it to the Happiness Guys and Returning Home

I posted this post a couple of days ago and am re-posting it again today because I have a feeling it didn’t go out to anyone because my blog and most of its followers have been lost in cyberspace for a few days. Thanks for your patience during all the moves!

A Story By Me

Hi Everyone, Just a quick note to let you all know that I am back at the old blog address again.  If you saw my post yesterday saying that A Story By Me was moving to a new blog address, please disregard the new address and just visit A Story By Me as you have always done.

After spending the past couple of days yanking out all of my hair I am ready to admit that I am not as technologically inclined as I thought I was and I have decided that I’m ready to get back to what I like doing most, which is writing and of course reading all of your blog posts.

Thanks so much for your patience! From now on I will leave the tecky stuff to the WordPress Happiness Engineers 😀

Have a great evening!

T

I found this Post T in my In Box after asking you on my Blog why I couldn’t connect to your new Blog, as for Technology today, I’m still working out my Jug and Toaster. Ron says keep it simple and don’t fix it if it works! Hmmmm what do you do if it don’t work! I know you use a saucepan and a blowtorch!

I did see something about Skunks so I will go look for them tomorrow, it’s time for bed again.

To funny Anne. If I ever come to your house for dinner it will be fun to see you cooking like that 🙂 As far as my new blog address I may use it to add a page or something later on if I ever have time but for now that address is turned off and I will stay parked here where I know how things work!

Hi T, yesterday I spent my time trying to figure out why our computer is so slow and also setting up a cell phone. It boggles my mind…Take care! At least you know how to get Compassion kids pics set up. I don’t get it…

I have been there too… yesterday I spent the day trying to fix my computer because the volume kept turning up all by itself and the pages where scrolling by themselves too. I ran virus scans, installed and reinstalled my browser, was on the chat with Dell tech support, etc etc… only to discover HOURS later that my mouse was broken and that it was the culprit, it had a stuck button LOL! something so simple I totally missed! I guess we all have things we get and don’t get lately technology has gone way over my head! Thanks for commenting! p.s. if you need help with the Compassion kids pics email me I think I can maybe walk you through it, depending on where the pictures are that you want to share.

Often times when I see suggestions for self-hosting etc. I think to myself ….. Why? Nahhh! Too much work! No Way!… Things are okay where I am so I simply ‘STAY’…

I have helped others with their blogs for different reasons, and one of them tried the WP.org and found it like you did unsettling and moved back! Diane

I do think it was way to much work and I don’t have time for the extra work plus it was very stressful. Plus I didn’t have time to write because I was taking care of the technical side during all my spare time which kinda defeats the purpose of having a blog. lesson learned lol 🙂 thanks for commenting!
