Do you ever feel like life is crumbling around you and no matter what you do you just can’t seem to do anything to make it stop crumbling? Do you ever feel like you can’t seem to do anything right? Do you ever feel like people are upset with you or that they don’t like you? Have you ever took on a new adventure full of excitement only to find out later that the excitement just isn’t as exciting anymore because people around you don’t seem to have the same enthusiasm as you have? Does it feel as if your path in life is constantly having another obstacle for you to hurdle and once you get over the top you find that you have run head first into a brick wall? Do you have conflict in your life? Do things seem to be spinning so out of control to the point that you just can not see a way that any of it could possibly ever work out?
Remember this….
The picture above is the wonderful reminder that I was met with as I walked into work yesterday.
This past week was a stressful week for me and yesterday morning when I left my house for work I was in an pretty horrible mood. It was pouring down rain as I drove to work and because of the rain I parked under an awning close to the door of the building.
As I stepped out of my car I looked down and there it was…
Right there on the ground in front of me written in chalk were the words ‘Jesus Loves You’. A child’s artwork beautifully drawn by the hand of God.
On a dreary rainy day it seemed as if the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine suddenly was shining brightly before me.
Jesus loves me so much that he had left me a love letter there on the sidewalk to remind me.
He loves me….
Jesus loves ME!
Now you say it… Jesus loves me,
Try it one more time… Jesus loves me.
Those words are true you know, He loves you so much!
No matter what is going on in life that is one fact that will never ever change. It’s the one for sure fact that is always true and the one fact that we can always always count on.
Life on this earth can get pretty hard at times, but don’t ever give up, God has a plan for you and no matter what life throws at you, you’ve got to keep pressing on and don’t you ever ever forget how much He loves you!
I woke up this morning and this was the verse of the day on the screen of my phone…
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.. Philippians 1:6 NLT
I went to a Ladies retreat at my church today and guess what the ending verse was?
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.. Philippians 1:6 NLT
I am certain that God is trying to tell me something and now I am telling you…Keep the faith and no matter what don’t ever give up.
Have a blessed day,
Terri
Thanks for the reminder!!!

Sorry your week has also been a hard one T, I understand the frustration when things happen one after the other, but how wonderful God reassured you, He knows those who are His and never leaves us. To be honest what others think about me T does not cause great alarm for me anymore, yes I’m sad if they feel the need to slander me behind my back etc but it’s their lack not mine ,Jesus told us we will be abused and hated when we stand up for His Truth and walk with Him.
Something sad happened T in the week-end , one of the young girls and her brother who come to Funday School, their dog was run over and the Driver didn’t stop, I was having people for Dinner when 3 of the girls who are good friends, knocked at my door they were all crying and they asked me could I please pray for them. I prayed and cried with them, I loved Sky the little dog too, than I sat with them until we all felt better, fortunately my guests were late.
I was not very impressed though when the young girl whose dog had been killed said her Neighbor told them that this was a lesson from God, so they will be careful riding their bikes, she started crying again, I hugged her and said all good things come from God not bad, she seemed better but I was still upset about careless words, .
Most of the Children I have in my Funday School have never heard about Jesus so each week we have a Song time as well as a Story, they have a few favorites Songs including the one below, you reminded me about it T when you were sharing your beautiful words of Love and Hope.

Thank you for your comment Anne, I am sorry for the children/s loss of their dog and that is also sad about the neighbor’s careless words. I am glad they have you there to tell them the truth about how much God loves them and how he is kind and good. Thank you for sharing the Jesus Loves Me song. 5 years ago my mother in law had a stroke and could not speak and a nurse came into the room to take blood and asked her if she knew any songs.. My mother in law started singing Jesus loves me, now when I hear that song I always think about her. She is with Jesus now, I know she is happy but still miss her very much.

I think we always miss those we Love T but they are in our heart so they are not far from us and we will be together again, that is a hope others who reject Jesus don’t have.
Not sure what happened to the link for “Jesus Loves Me ” I will try again …
Blessings – Anne
