Next week a group of Compassion Bloggers will be traveling to the Dominican Republic.
I have a child that I sponsor who lives in the Dominican Republic so this really is exciting for me to get to follow along on their trip and I am looking forward to finding out more about where she lives, her culture and what Compassion is doing in her country.
Sponsoring her has been such a huge blessing in my life that I never expected but am so thankful I received .
Next week I will be sharing several of blog posts from the blogger trip and today I am sharing a post with you from Compassion International’s blog that is full of great Info about the Dominican Republic.
I hope you enjoy…

Wow can I go with them… if only! but Truthfully, how I would love to visit the Orphanages I support,to give the Children a big Hug from Grannie Annie, it’s a dream that may never happen but I can still dream and I do have the precious Children in my street who visit me most days and sometimes there are new Children.
Funday School has started again, our first lesson was about how Jesus Loves all the Children of the world including them, two of the girls had never heard about Jesus before, their eyes were glowing and yesterday they brought two of their friends and asked if they could come to Funday School too, they all come from dysfunctional families, they all have nightmares, please, please pray for them T, I no longer have nightmares, Jesus filled my mind and heart with His Love and took them all away, how I long for them to be able to say the same one day.
Look forward to your sharing next week T blog posts from the blogger trip.

I would love to go with them too! I really like that those little girls eyes were glowing at Funday School, and also how wonderful that they brought their friends! I am sure that God put you in their lives because you know how they feel. I will for sure pray for them and God bless you and thank you for all you do for the children.
