Shelter from the Storm

wpid-IMAG2797.jpgThe storm is raging strong and furious all around. I desperately try to find my way out but feel as if I’m being overtaken by the pounding wind and rain. As the fury around me rages harder, fear begins to surround me, threatening to knock me off my feet. Just as I feel as if I am about to give up, suddenly your hand reaches out, catching me, steadying me, Holding me up. Your voice whispers softly telling me to trust…I believe I know that no matter how strong the storms of life are, You are stronger. Though the storm is still raging I feel at peace under the shelter of your protective arms.

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Psalm 91:4 (NLT)

I have left you a comment for you on your other Post T but yes we do not need to fear, God has everything in control and He will lead us all to the help we need to calm the storms that seems to cause havoc.

I Love many Scriptures including Psalm 91 , I Posted a story about it years ago, I will try and find the link for you. The Scripture that gives me great reassurance are some that I have shared with you before (see below ) they continue to hold me firm even in raging storms like with my own personal life problems and with many Telecommunication Issues and Blog worries.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Wow T, I just went searching for the link below that I promised and found other messages with much the same reassurance, God is do good.

    God’s wings –

Christian Love from both of us – Anne.
