Some days I feel like I’m walking forever on a path through the valley never quite getting anywhere near the mountain, let alone to the top.
Today and I find myself struggling to find my way.
Though I want nothing more but to be with you I can’t seem to find you.
I keep listening for your voice, but its so loud here that at times all I can hear is barely a whisper.
I see your light in the distance and feel you getting closer, yet your still just barley out of grasp.
I won’t give up.
I will keep searching, grasping small fleeting moments of peace as I struggle my way to you.
Though I would like for all my days to be Mountain top days some days I have to go through the valley
I told a friend earlier today that I had seen some pretty valleys and to give thanks.
Sometimes it’s easier to give advice than to take it I guess.
But as always you met me where you knew you would find me in the lyrics of a song…
Even though the journey’s long
And I know the road is hard
Well, the One who’s gone before me
He will help me carry on
After all that I’ve been through
Now I realize the truth
That I must go through the valley
To stand upon the mountain of God

A Story By Me 
Hi T , it is not God’s will we go through the down times but He knows we will and is always there with us, ( see below ) when we see Him as He really is 1Corinthians2, which is Total Love, our valleys become filled with beauty and wonder as He brings us to the top of the Mountain with Him and we then soar like eagles.
Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
