Emerald water sparkles before me as white finger like waves lift up, rolling forward, lapping at the shore spreading gently over the sand. Watching this I wonder how could I possibly have ever not believed in You?
Though I said I didn’t believe, I think I always felt your presence in the beauty and power of the ocean. While I was refusing to see the truth You were always there right in front of me…giving me proof. Showing me, always calling to me, comforting, bringing me peace.
Thankfully I know you now, but still every time I come here I am amazed and in awe of the beauty and the power of your presence. I feel so small and so unworthy of the gift of something so huge. As I gaze out across the waves to that place where the sky meets the water it looks as if they both go on forever… never ending… just like You are… forever…never ending.
As the sun begins to slip down the sky, once again I am amazed by another sunset, so beautiful, so new and so different from the one before.
Give Thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 118:1

A Story By Me 
Hi T it’s so wonderful that you always appreciated the wonder of God’s Creation and even more so now, your words were beautiful and touched my heart.
To be honest I did not appreciate God’s creation, like I do today although I loved animals and enjoyed the beach but just to look at and a gifts of flowers etc but not the same as I do now. I’m not sure if I have shared this with you before T, if so sorry but it was such a wonderful, Loving realization given to me from God, that I still feel great Joy whenever I remember and I love to share about it.
I was asked if I would create a Power point about Carnations for a friend, it was my first one and I thought to myself Hmmmm red and white and both together how boring but half way through collecting the Pictures I broke down and cried, I was in awe of the incredible beauty and variety of God’s creation even with Carnations alone, I had taken it for granted.
I asked forgiveness and with tears of Joy I continued creating the Power point. I have never been the same since and every time I see a flower now or even a Tree, I feel the awe all over again and often thank God for opening my eyes so I could really see the beauty of His creation. He gave us flowers to enjoy and some are also used for medicine, fragrance and food. I only wish I had smell a vision with my Power points to enjoy their beautiful fragrance that delights our senses.

Hi Anne, That is a great story, I love how God will stop us in our tracks and open our eyes. I had something like that happen to me on my trip this past week that I am working on writing a post about. Also my eye sight problems have helped me to be more aware of the beauty I used to miss that is right around me every single day. Thank you for sharing!
