Please pray for the Children

Yesterday I told you it was blog month at Compassion and that during the month of September a group of us bloggers have agreed to use our blogs to help children in poverty get sponsored via the internet through Compassion International.  Our goal is 3,108 children sponsored.  If you missed the post about what we are doing, you can click here to see it.

Now I am going to ask a favor from you.  To help us attain our goal your prayers are needed, so would you please go to the Compassion Sponsor page and look at the pictures of children and will you please pray over them?  Please pray that they will know Jesus and that God will protect them.  Pray that they know they are loved and there is always hope. Please pray that someone will sponsor them.   You can get to the page by clicking here.

You can also show this page to your own children and use it as a learning opportunity. By clicking on each individual child you can read about their community and their country.  You and your family can pray for the children together.

Prayer is such an important part of this ministry and I would like to thank you in advance for praying for the children and for helping to change their lives forever.
