This morning I woke up feeling overwhelmed with all the things I have to do. I rolled out of bed in a rush forgetting the very reason I was able to open my eyes in the first place. Why is it I know that if I start my day with God first it will be a better day but for some reason I get in a rush and put him last? I should know by now that does not work.
In my rush I grabbed a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee and headed for my office in my pajamas with the intention to answer a few emails then get back to God when I had things caught up. I sat down at my desk and started reading, saving personal emails for later and concentrating on work emails. About three emails into my reading I saw that someone had commented on my blog. I started to file it with the personal emails I was saving for later but I do not get a lot of comments on my blog and also being the curious person I am I could not wait, so I read the email. When I opened it I found a very nice comment from a Lady named Anne. She is a fellow blogger who’s blog I found about two months ago called Freedomborn. She and her husband Ron write a blog together, it is a really fun blog that is packed full of lots of cool things. They have light hearted jokes that leave me laughing along with a lot of very serious topics about life it is packed full of God’s love and lots of inspiration. I have also found much encouragement in comments that Anne has left on my blog and feel as if I have made a friend.
Today I found as always, a very encouraging comment on my Cleaning Out the Closet blog from Anne and also a gift of a lovely power point that she created for me. I have to say it stopped my rush in my tracks. By the time I got done reading it I was in tears because it was so beautiful. It showed me God’s love in all my favorite things. Using my favorite flower the daffodil and adding to that, the ocean, sprinkled with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. I felt as if God spoke to me in it He made me stop in my tracks. I completely forgot my rushing and slowed down. He brought me right back to the place I belong, with Him. My chaotic rush has been left behind and His peace has filled me up. I find it really humbling how He always finds a way to bring me back to Him. Showing me He loves me and is always there in a flower or a sunset and this time in a friend who I have never met who lives across the world from me. I am so very very thankful for what he has done for me and who he has put in my life 🙂
This power point is so lovely I want to share it with all of you. Thank you for reading and click here to enjoy God’s Love Complete In Unity, by my friend Anne. Have a great day, thanks for reading and God bless you 🙂
